The following text is on page 370 of Volume 5 of the Works of Abraham Lincoln, edited by Roy P. Basler and published by Rutgers University Press:

“It is better for the Negro and white races to be separated,” President Abraham Lincoln said in an address to some 500 free Negroes, on the White House lawn, April 14, 1862.

President Lincoln said: “You and we are different races. We have between us a broader physical difference than exists between any other two races.

“Whether it is right or wrong I need not discuss; but this physical difference is a great disadvantage to us both, as I think.

“Your race suffer very greatly, many of them, by living among us, while ours suffer from your presence. In a word, we suffer on each side. If this be admitted, it affords a reason, at last, why we should be separated.

“Even when you cease to be slaves, you are yet far removed from being placed on an equality with white people.

“On this broad continent not a single man of your race is made the equal of a single man of ours.

“Go where you are treated the best, and the ban is still upon you. I cannot alter it if I would. See your present condition, the Country engaged in war, our white men cutting one another's throats, and then consider what we know to be the truth — But for your race among us there would be no war, although many men engaged on either side do not care for you one way or another. It is better for us both therefore to be separated.”

Abraham Lincoln's solid common sense on the racial issue has been forgotten in today's world, in which liberal “social scientists” and media propagandists have succeeded in jamming the races together, creating a crime problem exceeding that of any European country.

	"I will say, then, that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races- that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes- nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which will ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. 	"Why...should the people of your race be colonized, and where? Why should they leave this country? This is, perhaps, the first question for proper consideration. You and we are different races. We have between us a broader difference than exists between almost any other two races. Before Lincoln was shot by a Rothschild emmisary he established a territory in Africa, which was called Liberia, that was set aside for the ex-patriation of the black race that was then residing in America.

I lived in Springfield, Illinois 52 years ago and until some 20 years ago, I shared the belief that Lincoln was worthy of praise. The truth is that he could not collect the taxes needed to conclude his aggression against the South.   To overcome this problem, he passed his legal tender acts and issued his infamous "greenbacks" that made it possible for government to get everything without paying for anything.   This is slavery. There is no provision in the legal tender statutes for "payment", neither is there a law that requires most of us to file tax returns yet those who do not are subject to being jailed in this "land of the free" for not confessing to how much we worked without pay. With his spurious specie, "honest" Abe, the lawyer, made every war in this century possible and he made communism possible if communism is nothing more than the few controlling the many with legal tender, credit, fear, lies, illusions, disease, intimidation and amusements that inhibit serious thought.
