Yarmulke-wearing U.S. presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain wipes a tear away as
Sen. Joe Lieberman looks on after visiting the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in
Jerusalem, Israel. McCain was also the recipient of a recent posh fundraising
dinner affair in England, courtesy of the world’s largest funder of war in the
world: the Rothschild family. Everyone knows McCain would be good for the war
profiteers, bankers and Israeli security, but what will become of America?
John McCain’s Rothschild Connection
By Michael Collins Piper — AFP
SOME CYNICS SAY THAT Sen. John McCain’s recent visit to London to attend a
fundraiser for his presidential candidacy hosted by Lord Jacob Rothschild of the
international banking empire may have been quite simply a case of McCain going
to Rothschild for his marching orders.
As if to underscore his allegiances, McCain preceded his trip to pay court to
Lord Rothschild with a visit to Israel, the Middle East state that counts the
Rothschild family as among its chief patrons, to the point that an earlier
Rothschild, Edmond, of the Paris-based arm of the banking family, is honored on
Israel’s currency today.
McCain was accompanied to the Rothschild gala (and to Israel) by his good friend
and fellow devotee of Israel, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.), who has endorsed
McCain and who is often mentioned as either a vice presidential running mate for
McCain or as a likely secretary of state in a McCain administration.
Although McCain’s sponsor, Lord Rothschild (as a citizen of Britain) is not
permitted by American law to make campaign contributions directly to McCain, he
was permitted to host a big-ticket fundraising reception for McCain attended by
Americans in the Rothschild sphere of influence who were willing to pay aminimum
of $1,000 per person for the privilege of mixing it up with the American
presidential candidate who is clearly the Rothschild family’s favorite.
That the Rothschild empire would support McCain should come as no surprise to
those familiar with McCain’s record.
First of all, McCain has been a longtime member of the Council on Foreign
Relations (CFR). Although, on Oct, 30, 1993, The Washington Post described the
CFR as “the nearest thing we have to a ruling establishment in the United
States,” saying that they are “the people who, for more than half a century,
have managed our international affairs and our military-industrial complex,”
what the Post did not say was that the CFR is actually only a NewYork-based
division of the grandly named Royal Institute of International Affairs, which
has functioned as the foreign policy-making arm of the Rothschild dynasty, long
the prime mover, behind the scenes, of Britain’s imperial ventures.
In addition, McCain’s own backstage connections in his home state of Arizona
(See AFP, Feb 4, 2008) are equally intriguing and point even further to the
reasons why the Rothschilds are enamored with McCain.
As AFP pointed out, McCain’s late father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a top figure
in the organized crime power network surrounding one Kemper Marley, who acted as
the front man in Arizona for the Bronfman family—key players in the Lansky crime
syndicate, popularly though inaccurately referred to as “the Mafia”—who used
Marley to control both major political parties in that state.
The Bronfman family has long been allied with the Rothschilds as among the
leading billionaire patrons of Israel and the global Zionist movement, so much
so that Edgar Bronfman, head of the dynasty, was, for many years head of the
World Jewish Congress (WJC), which is now lorded over by his son Matthew, who is
chairman of the WJC’s governing board.
Eight years ago, when McCain first ran for president, Edgar Bronfman was a
contributor to his campaign. And at the time McCain included among his closest
advisors the ubiquitous William Kristol of the stridently pro-Israel
neo-conservative journal, The Weekly Standard, whose owner, media baron Rupert
Murdoch, rose to wealth and power through the sponsorship of the Rothschild and
Bronfman families.
Kristol has attended the secretive Bilderberg meetings that are sponsored
jointly on an annual basis by the Rothschild family in partnership with their
American confreres in the Rockefeller family.
So the McCain-Bronfman-Rothschild connection is intimate on multiple levels and
explains much about McCain’s long-standing tendency to be an almost feverish
advocate for Israel’s interests.
McCain himself has declared his allegiance to Israel, above and beyond U.S.
interests. In a March 14, 1999 speech in New York to the National Council of
Young Israel, McCain said:
We choose, as a nation, to intervene militarily abroad in defense of the moral
values that are at the center of our national conscientiousness even when vital
national interests are not necessarily at stake. I raise this point because it
lies at the heart of this nation’s approach to Israel. The survival of Israel is
one of this country’s most important moral commitments.
Thus, McCain would be willing to commit the United States to a war in defense of
Israel, even if U.S. “vital interests are not necessarily at stake.” His
endorsement of assaults upon the so-called “rogue” Islamic states is part and
parcel of this policy, which hardly places America first.
In fact, the record shows that McCain has long been part of an elitist group
promoting U.S. military action in defense of Israel. According to theAug. 2,
1996 issue of the London-based Jewish Chronicle, McCain was a member of a
little-known operation calling itself the Commission on America’s National
Interest that issued a report rating Israel as a “blue chip” interest for the
United States worth “spending serious treasure and serious blood on”—a
conclusion many Americans might question.
The report ranked Israel’s survival “on a par with preventing nuclear,
biological and nuclear attacks on the U.S. as a vital American interest.” The
Chronicle summarized the report, quoting the group, with the headline:
“Americans ‘should go to war to defend Israel.’”
McCain has said that he is “driven” by “Wilsonian principles”—the
internationalist philosophy that U.S. military might should be used to enforce
what critics have called the New World Order.
In 2006, for his enthusiastic efforts on Israel’s behalf, the Jewish Institute
for National Security Affairs (JINSA) gave McCain its “distinguished service
award” named in memory of the late Sen. Henry M. Jackson (D-Wash.) who was long
one of the Israeli lobby’s favorite members of Congress.
To be hailed by JINSA, however, is a rather dubious honor, inasmuch as several
people associated with JINSA including its founder Stephen Bryen, and Bryen’s
close friend, Richard Perle (another regular attendee at the meetings of the
Bilderberg group) as well as Paul Wolfowitz (former president of the World Bank)
have all been investigated by the FBI in past years on suspicion of espionage on
behalf of Israel.
Now the presumptive Republican Party’s presidential nominee has received the
formal public endorsement of the unrivaled royal family of international
Zionism—the Rothschilds.

John Sidney McCain III entered the United States Naval
Academy at Annapolis,
Maryland in 1954. Young McCain wanted to become an admiral. He planned to be
the "first son and grandson of four star admirals" to achieve such a
distinction. But that was not to be. McCain III possessed none of the innate
character and discipline traits that helped mold his father and grandfather
into great military leaders.
His father, John S. "Junior" McCain, and grandfather, John S. McCain, Sr.,
were famous four-star Admirals in the U.S. Navy. His father commanded U.S.
forces in Europe before becoming commander of American forces fighting in
Vietnam. His grandfather commanded naval aviation at the Battle of Okinawa
in 1945. Both men became highly influential in U.S. Navy operations.
At the Academy, aside being known as a "rowdy, raunchy, underachiever" who
resented authority, Cadet McCain became infamous as a leader among his
fellow midshipmen for organizing "off-Yard activities" and hard drinking
parties. Robert Timberg wrote in his book, The Nightingale's Song, that
"being on liberty with John McCain was like being in a train wreck."
McCain's grades were "marginal." He drew so many demerits for breaking
curfew and other discipline issues that he graduated fifth from the bottom
of the class of 1958. Despite his low "class standing," and no doubt because
of the influence of his family of famous Admirals, McCain was leap-frogged
ahead of more qualified applicants and granted a coveted slot to be trained
as a navy pilot.
Good Party Animal - Bad Pilot:
He spent the next two and a half years as a "naval aviator in training" at
Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida and Naval Air Station Corpus Christi
in Texas, flying A-1 Skyraiders.
While a pilot trainee, McCain continued to party hard. He drove a Corvette
and dated an exotic dancer named "Marie the Flame of Florida." Timberg wrote
that McCain "learned to fly at Pensacola, though his performance was below
par, at best good enough to get by. He liked flying, but didn't love it."
McCain, the "below par" pilot, eventually lost 5 military aircraft, the
first during a training flight in 1958 when he plunged into Corpus Christi
Bay while trying to land. The Navy ignored the crash and graduated McCain in
1960.
While deployed in the Mediterranean, the hard partying McCain lost a second
aircraft. Timberg described the crash: "Flying too low over the Iberian
Peninsula, he took out some power lines which led to a spate of newspaper
stories in which he was predictably identified as the son of an admiral."
Unscathed, McCain returned to Pensacola Station where he was promoted to
flight instructor for Naval Air Station Meridian in Mississippi. The
airfield at Meridian, McCain Field, was named in honor of McCain's
grandfather.
In 1964 McCain became involved with Carol Shepp, a model from Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, he had met at Annapolis. They were married in Philadelphia on
July 3, 1965.
Flight instructor McCain lost a third aircraft while flying a Navy trainer
solo to Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. Timberg wrote that
McCain radioed, "I've got a flameout" before ejecting at one thousand feet.
McCain parachuted onto a beach moments before his plane slammed into a clump
of trees.
The Navy dismissed the crash as "unavoidable" and assigned McCain to the
aircraft carrier USS Forrestal in December 1966, which was patrolling the
Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. In Spring 1967, the Forrestal was
assigned to join the Operation Rolling Thunder bombing campaign against
North Vietnam.
McCain lost his fourth plane on board the Forrestal on July 29, 1967 when a
rocket inadvertently slammed into his bomb laden jet. McCain escaped, but
the explosions that followed killed 134 sailors. McCain was transferred from
the badly damaged Forrestal to the USS Oriskany. Shortly afterwards, on Oct.
26, 1967, he was shot down and captured by the Vietnamese.
Post-POW Years: Political Ambition and a New, Young, Rich Wife
Upon his release from North Vietnam and return to the United States in 1973,
McCain reunited with his wife, Carol, who had been permanently crippled in a
car accident while he was a POW.
Still yearning to become an admiral, McCain enrolled in the National War
College at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C. and underwent physical therapy in
order to fly again. The Navy excused his permanent disabilities and
reinstated him to flight status, effectively positioning him for promotion.
Timberg described McCain's advancement: "in the fall of 1974, McCain was
transferred to Jacksonville as the executive officer of Replacement Air
Group 174, the long-sought flying billet at last a reality. A few months
later, he assumed command of the RAG, which trained pilots and crews for
carrier deployments. The assignment was controversial, some calling it
favoritism, a sop to the famous son of a famous father and grandfather,
since he had not first commanded a squadron, the usual career path."
While Executive Officer and later as Squadron Commander McCain used his
authority to arrange frequent flights that allowed him to carouse with
subordinates and "engage in extra-marital affairs."
This was a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice rules against
adultery and fraternization with subordinates. But, as with all his other
past behaviors, McCain was never penalized; instead he always got away with
his transgressions.
Timberg wrote, "Off duty, usually on routine cross-country flights to Yuma
and El Centro, John started carousing and running around with women. To make
matters worse, some of the women with whom he was linked by rumor were
subordinates . . . At the time the rumors were so widespread that, true or
not, they became part of McCain's persona, impossible not to take note of."
In early 1977, Admiral Jim Holloway, Chief of Naval Operations promoted
McCain to captain and transferred him from his command position "to
Washington as the number-two man in the Navy's Senate liaison office. McCain
was promptly given total control of the office. It wasn't long before the
"fun loving and irreverent" McCain had turned the liaison office into a
"late-afternoon gathering spot where senators and staffers, usually from the
Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, would drop in for a drink
and the chance to unwind."
In 1979, while attending a military reception in Hawaii, McCain met and fell
in love with Cindy Lou Hensley [a jewess whose father is a lead figure in the
jewish
mafia] , 17 years his junior, who was the daughter of
James W. Hensley, a wealthy Anheuser-Busch distributor from Phoenix,
Arizona. McCain filed for and obtained an uncontested divorce from his wife
in Florida on April 2, 1980 and promptly married Cindy on May 17, 1980.
He resigned from the Navy in 1981 and went to work for his father-in-law in
Phoenix; where he used the opportunity to make powerful and wealthy friends
in Arizona including banker Charles Keating and Duke Tully, the
editor-in-chief of the Arizona Republic. Keating was later convicted of
fraud, racketeering, and conspiracy and Tully was disgraced for concocting a
phony military record of combat in Korea and Vietnam including medals for
heroism.
McCain ran for Arizona's First Congressional District in 1982. McCain won
the congressional seat. In 1987 McCain was elected to the US Senate.

In my opinion, there are no "sacred cows" when it comes to the office of the President of the United States of America. At this point, there is a "flying squad" of returned POWs from the Vietnam War protecting the image of Senator John S. McCain. One can but wonder why Senator McCain would require such a team. He is not under attack or even serious scrutiny by the "liberal media." TV commentators who usually attack anyone who shows a less than pristine bent for the most part are mum on the Arizona senator.
My concerns are simple. I believe that any and all of the intelligence held by U.S. Government agencies on Senator McCain's time as a POW must be made available to the media and public. There is too much danger of a President being held hostage by things in the files of Intelligence agencies and, even more dangerous, held in the files of foreign governments in Asia and Europe.
My intentions have nothing to do with any feelings I may harbor toward John McCain personally. I have none. My intentions in all of this have to do with him professionally.
They have to do with his treatment of [North Vietnamese Army Colonel] Bui Tin, who I consider nothing more than a "sent agent." They have to do with his simplistic attitude toward the issue of MIAs and his utterly vile behavior toward those who disagree with him, including POW/MIA family members.
Lastly, I feel for any of the "Keating Five" to have the audacity to make "Campaign Reform" the cornerstone of his platform is the height of hypocrisy. He took the money right along with the others. To claim he did not know is not the type of answer one who aspires to be President should give in my opinion. He was responsible but, he did everything in his power to shift the blame. He sounded too much like Clinton for me. He disappointed me in that.
I don't care if he has a temper unless he decides to vent it on an aging MIA mother, and he did just that. I can't forgive that and no one else should.
MIAs? I wrote then-Congressman McCain while still in the Army, from Korea, about the MIAs. Senator Denton wrote to me encouraging me to trust the Government. I didn't like the answer, but I got an answer from Senator Denton. My letter to McCain was answered by DIA. I wrote to him as one of the few POWs the Communists returned along with himself, and he checked nothing. So much for John's concern about MIAs.
A friend of mine was with Admiral McCain when he came to meet his son upon his return to U.S. control. When he reminded Senator McCain of this, John responded with a tirade and claimed that he received no "special treatment" and even denied his father was there. I'm sorry, but that was just a lie.
There was deep concern among the intelligence community about John McCain. His interviews and statements from Hanoi and pictures of him in an actual hospital gave great worries to many, including Bill Colby himself. His hero image was not nearly as solid in 1973 as it is now. That may have been wrong, but it was a fact.
I don't know why John did many of the things he did in captivity and since, but I do know that none of this is off limits, when it concerns someone running for President.
Andrew Jackson was a war hero and he and his wife endured terrible rumors, innuendo and the washing of dirty laundry. If "Ole Hickory" was not immune, someone captured by the enemy also is not.
Some are issuing damning statements about Senator McCain, which I have never seen anything to justify. Unless there are verifiable facts to back them up, these people should shut up. Most importantly, Vietnam Veterans have some serious questions to ask about which the media seems too timid to even venture a query. These must be answered and answered now.
Lastly, for returned POWs to stand up and say that no MIAs could have been alive after 1973 "Because we knew everyone in the system," is a self-serving lie and has no place in the utterances of honorable men. If they truly do not know better, they should support their candidate and keep their mouths shut about MIAs. They know nothing of remains still reaking of decay long after the war, nor have they ever been in the arena of which they try to speak as "experts." All of this to support a political candidate for President? That is what McCain is and the leadership of our nation is too important to take anyone's word on a candidate.
After all, there is a large segment of time when none of these POWs were with McCain in Hanoi. To state or even insinuate otherwise is to lie and that is unacceptable, even if one believes all that John now says.
Like I have said in the past, I hope John is everything that he claims to be, but that does not excuse giving military intelligence to the enemy, his supposed "open mind" on MIAs, his treatment of MIA family members, or his attacks on [former Marine POW] PFC Garwood, a man he never heard of as a POW.
Perhaps he could address why all those boys in Hanoi were on the radio I had to listen to in 1972-73 and none were being tortured. Contrary to the carefully contrived belief within the media, the vast majority that I heard were "highly trained and disciplined pilots" and not a bunch of "Army and Marine" enlisted men.
I find it totally unprofessional, for professional military men to attack people who have legitimate questions about a political candidate regardless of who he is or who his father was. I find many things said about Senator McCain to be unsavory and with out merit.
Those things are easily dealt with by John's campaign staff. His friends have every right to defend him on these things, but they have no right to issue blanket statements about McCain's captivity unless they were with him all the way. They were not unless his claim of isolation is a fabrication.
One would hope the same people are more accurate in their description of McCain than they were in their totally meritless claim of "knowing everyone in the system." This is a self-serving lie and a totally dishonorable one at that. You knew? You knew nothing!
In closing, let me say this. The very insinuation that anyone who challenges John McCain is a lesser person in the returned POW community is so much bunk.
This is political, pure and simple. John must be judged as a candidate for President, on what his past actions truly were. Where he has stood on the issues as a politician are open to scrutiny and he is also certainly allowed his defenders.
However, to put out totally inaccurate statements about what the POWs in Hanoi knew about who was a POW and who was not, and who collaborated and who did not, while ignoring the dishonorable actions of those let back into the fold in the last minutes of captivity, has no merit.
We are talking about the leadership of the Nation, and I and others have serious questions about McCain's suitability for that position. We are allowed to have these positions and there is no requirement based on honor that requires us to remain mum.
Furthermore, there is no challenge as to our right to be judged on our performance on the battlefield or in prison. I welcome anyone to debate me on my performance in either scenario and I find the insinuation that we in the jungle somehow suffered less or served with less honor to be not only professionally and historically reprehensible, but, also laughable.
Perhaps some in our number learned the value of propaganda a little too well during our captivity.
I will not be steam rolled by a "flying squad" of propagandists. I want some damned answers, not another self-serving book that builds the images and egos of my high-flying compatriots from Hanoi.

Now you know why McCain DEMANDED that the POW records be

Top Cop Says McCain Was Never Tortured
Former Vietnam vet with top secret clearance - Republican frontrunner is "a
lying skunk"
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Thursday, February 7th, 2008
A former Vietnam veteran with top secret clearance says he has personally spoken
to numerous POW's who dispute John McCain's claim that he refused to provide
information after he was captured and tortured in Hanoi, saying that in fact
McCain's code-name was "Songbird" because of his willingness to tell all to
avoid torture.
Jack McLamb served nine years in secret operations in Cambodia and other nations
before going on to become one of the most highly decorated police officer's in
Phoenix history, winning police officer of the year twice before taking a role
as a hostage negotiator for the FBI.
"I know a lot of Vietnam veterans and a few POW's and all the POW's that I've
talked to over the years say that John McCain is a lying skunk," McLamb told the
Alex Jones Show.
"He never was tortured - they were there in the camp with him and then when he
came in....he immediately started spilling his guts about everything because he
didn't want to get tortured," said McLamb, contradicting the official story that
McCain only offered his name, rank, serial number, and date of birth.
"The Vietnamese Communists called him the Songbird, that's his code name,
Songbird McCain, because he just came into the camp singing and telling them
everything they wanted to know," said McLamb.
McLamb said the POW's told him that McCain had sustained two broken arms and a
leg injury from not pulling his arms in when he bailed out of his A-4 Skyhawk
that was shot down over the Truc Bach Lake in Hanoi.
The POW's said that McCain made 32 propaganda videos for the communist North
Vietnamese in which he denounced America for what they were doing in Vietnam.
"They have these sealed now, our government has these sealed, we can't get to
it, they have it classified," said McLamb, adding that in truth "the POW's hate
John McCain."
It is commonly accepted that McCain was treated better than other POW's and
afforded medical care immediately after the North Vietnamese discovered that his
father was a top admiral.
Several Vietnam veterans groups do solely exist to expose McCain's abandonment
of veteran's interests as well as his lies about being tortured, including
Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain and U.S. Veteran Dispatch.

Doubts over McCain's alleged war hero status and his support to curtail efforts
to look for missing POW's contributed to torpedoing his presidential campaign in
2000 and those same questions will undoubtedly surface again should the Senator
win the Republican nomination.

John McCain is a U.S. Senator from Arizona and a Republican candidate for
president in 2008.
John Sidney McCain was born on August 29, 1936, in the Panama Canal Zone. Born
into a family with a distinguished reputation in the U.S. Navy, both his father
and grandfather were admirals and his father rose to command all the U.S. naval
forces in the Pacific, McCain spent his childhood and adolescent years moving
between naval bases in America and abroad.
He graduated from the Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1958 and trained as a Navy
pilot. With the outbreak of the Vietnam War, McCain volunteered for combat duty
and began flying carrier-based attack planes on low-altitude bombing runs
against the North Vietnamese.
On October 26, 1967, during his 23rd air mission, McCain's plane was shot down
over the North Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. His captors soon learned he was the
son of a high-ranking officer in the U.S. Navy and repeatedly offered him early
release, but McCain refused, not wanting to violate the military code of conduct
and knowing that the North Vietnamese would use his release as a powerful piece
of propaganda.
He eventually spent five and a half years in various prison camps, three and a
half of those in solitary confinement, and was repeatedly beaten and tortured
before he was finally released, along with other American POWs, in March 1973,
two months after the Vietnam cease fire went into effect.
Though McCain had lost most of his physical strength and flexibility, he was
determined to continue serving as a naval aviator. After a painful nine months
of rehabilitation, he returned to flying duty, but it soon became clear that his
injuries had permanently impaired his ability to advance in the Navy.
His introduction to politics came in 1977, when he was assigned as the Navy's
liaison to the U.S. Senate. In 1980, after marrying his second wife, Cindy
Hensley, McCain moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and began working on establishing
connections in politics. He was first elected to political office in 1982,
easily winning a seat in the House of Representatives when his well-known war
record helped overcome doubts about his "carpetbagger" status.
Having adapted well to the largely conservative politics of his home state,
McCain was a loyal supporter of the Reagan administration and numbered among a
group of young "new Right."
In 1986, after the retirement of the longtime Arizona senator and prominent
Republican Barry Goldwater, McCain won election to the U.S. Senate. Both in the
House and the Senate, McCain earned a reputation as a conservative politician
who nonetheless was not afraid to question the ruling Republican orthodoxy. In
1983, for example, he called for the withdrawal of U.S. Marines from Lebanon,
and he also publicly criticized the administration'
From 1987 to 1989, McCain underwent a federal investigation as a member of the
"Keating Five," a group of senators who were accused of improperly intervening
with federal regulators on behalf of Charles H. Keating Jr., a bank chairman
whose Lincoln Savings & Loan Association eventually became one of the biggest
failures in the savings and loan disasters of the late 1980s. He was eventually
cleared of the charges, although investigators declared that he had exercised
"poor judgment" by meeting with the regulators.
McCain weathered the scandal and won re-election to the Senate three times, each
time with a solid majority. His reputation as a maverick politician with firm
beliefs and a quick temper only increased, and many were impressed with his
willingness to be extremely open with the public and the press. He has worked
diligently in support of increased tobacco legislation and especially the reform
of the campaign finance system, professing some more liberal views and generally
proving to be more complex than merely a straight-ahead conservative.
In 1999, McCain emerged as a solid challenger to the frontrunner, Governor
George W. Bush of Texas, for the Republican presidential nomination in 2000. In
the New Hampshire primary, McCain won by a surprisingly wide margin, largely
bolstered by Independent voters and cross-over Democrats.
After a roller-coaster ride during the primaries--Bush won South Carolina, while
McCain captured Michigan and Arizona--Bush emerged triumphant on "Super Tuesday"
in early March 2000, winning New York and California, among a number of others.
Though McCain won in most of the New England states, his large electoral deficit
forced him to "suspend" his campaign indefinitely. On May 9, after holding out
for two months, McCain formally endorsed Bush.
In August 2000, McCain was diagnosed with skin cancer lesions on his face and
arm, which doctors determined were unrelated to a similar lesion which he had
removed in 1993. He subsequently underwent surgery, during which all the
cancerous tissue was successfully removed.
McCain was back in the headlines in the spring of 2001, when the Senate debated
and eventually passed, by a vote of 59-41, a broad overhaul of the campaign
finance system. The bill was the fruit of McCain's six-year effort, with
Democratic Senator Russell D. Feingold of Wisconsin to reform the system.
Central to the McCain-Feingold bill is a controversial ban on the unrestricted
contributions to political parties known as "soft money." The new law was
narrowly upheld by the Supreme Court in 2003.
McCain supported the Iraq War, but criticized The Pentagon several times,
especially about low troop strength. McCain supported the 2007 surge of more
than 20,000 troops, which supporters say has increased security in Iraq.
McCain also publicly supported President Bush's bid for re-election, even though
he differed with Bush on several issues including torture, illegal immigration
and global warming.
With Bush limited to two terms, McCain officially entered the 2008 presidential
race on April 25, 2007, during an announcement in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
McCain married Carol Shepp, his first wife, in 1965. He adopted her two children
from a previous marriage, and they have a daughter, born in 1966. The couple
divorced in 1980. He and his second wife, Cindy, have four children.

SENATOR JOHN McCAIN AND BRAIN DEAD AMERICAN VOTERS
By Frosty Wooldridge

NewsWithViews.
How’s immigration working out for you fellow Americans? Got a goober in your
back pocket? Like what you see in Mexi-fornia? How about Mexi-zona? What can you
say about Mexi-Texas? How about that 1965 Immigration Reform Act that added 100
million people in four decades? How about the next 100 million immigrants added
by 2040?
Ya’ just gotta’ love the results don’t ya’? What would Andy of Mayberry say?
“Hey, Andy, Goober said, while twirling his hat.
“Ya’ Goob,” Andy Taylor muttered.
“What do you git when you has over 100 anglers down on the lake for the Fishin’
Derby that can only handle 20 fishermen Andy?” Goober said.
“Jist a bit over-crowded,” Andy said, scowling. “Reckon only a few will catch a
fish and have a harder time fightin’ all the others bumping into them.”
“Don’t make no sense does it?” Goober said.
“No sense atall,” Andy said.
Senator John McCain shot to the top for the Republicans on Super Tuesday. What
could possibly be running through the minds of voters who voted for him?
McCain along with Teddy Kennedy signed the amnesty package for 4.3 million
illegal aliens in 1986. They promised to secure the borders 22 years ago. Today,
in the last 22 years, they watched 20 million more illegals breach our borders.
In June of last year, both senators voted to double legal immigration. Both
voted for another amnesty. Both voted for the Dream Act. Both worked to dissolve
America’s borders into the North American Union. Both men voted to get 4,000 of
our kids killed in Iraq—and more to die.
Both men show their ages at 72 and 75 to be out of touch, running out of life
and both remaining out of reach with reality.
Yet, Arizona republicans in droves voted to thrust a broken down old war horse
into the presidency! With his open borders record and complete chaos in Arizona,
why in the name of common sense, would Arizona voters vote for McCain? He failed
them, he failed our Constitution and he failed in leadership.
This election will prove the most devastating in our nation’s history if
pro-open borders candidates Hillary and/or Obama reach the White House or an old
man named John McCain takes the presidency. It’s astounding to me that an old
man won’t or can’t let go the reigns of power. I remember Reagan fell asleep in
cabinet meetings. He proved a figure-head only in his last four years. With
McCain or Hillary/Obama, either way, Americans from every walk of life face a
mind-boggling immigration human armada out of the third world that will deluge
our ability to sustain this civilization.
My friend George Sura in Fort Collins said it best, “Immigration is the most
formidable weapon of mass destruction threatening America today. Ironically,
invaders have put our country at risk without firing a shot. The White House,
the heavies in Congress and the smaller fish in state legislatures do not seem
to have the collective intellectual depth or common sense to see what is upon us
and how rampant immigration will degrade the lives and opportunities of our
progeny. Every day brings America closer to irreversible chaos. Behind this
issue are blind forces to reckon with. No politician, political party,
corporation, religious fervor, investment, pop morality or individual aspiration
should come before country. Ever! The brokers who recklessly advocate or condone
pervasive, unending and limitless immigration are steersman with Titanic-like
wheelhouse credentials. They should be kicked out of the wheelhouse of this
nation.”
I’m beside myself fellow Americans. Are we that dumb? Are we that duped by the
media to vote McCain into the presidency? Aren’t his past actions enough
information to vote for anyone else but McCain?
Do we realize that McCain/Hillary/
Do we realize that McCain hasn’t done anything noteworthy or visionary in 25
years in the Senate? He watched us fall, in fact, voted us into financial
purgatory. He voted for insourcing, outsourcing and offshoring to take 3.1
million manufacturing jobs out of the USA. He said and did nothing as he watched
his state of Arizona suffer 500,000 illegal aliens. He watched 20 million
illegals breach our borders without a word of protest. He voted for and will
continue our war in Iraq. He did nothing to work toward energy conservation in
25 years.
John McCain proves to be a spectator on the national stage. How do we think that
would change if he reached the White House? It wouldn’t.
If Republicans choose John McCain to represent them on November 7th, it shows
they choose old, out of touch, the past, inactivity and lethargy over vitality,
exuberance, liveliness and creative process. The results of that kind of leader
will prove a continuation of path paved by George W. Bush.
It will show that voters remain myopic, inflexible, constricted, short term
thinkers and inexorably brain dead.
“Makes no sense atall Goober,” Andy said.

Can We Believe McCain?
John LeBoutillier
Monday June 4, 2001
Amid all the controversy over John McCains weekend with Democratic Majority Leader Tom Daschle comes McCains "denial." He said in a phone call to G.W. Bush, "I have no intention of switching parties or of running for president."
Should McCain be trusted?
Can we believe what he says?
Is this so-called hero someone who always tells the truth?
Here is a private story that may go a long way toward answering these questions:
When John McCain was a POW in North Vietnam, one of his fellow POWs was Colonel Ted Guy. In fact, Ted was the SRO (Senior Ranking Officer) in one of the camps and was therefore superior to McCain.
Ted Guy, by the way, was known as one of the toughest and strictest POWs. He brooked no nonsense and no cooperation with the North Vietnamese forces.
Ted always liked and respected McCain. After they all came home they remained friendly.
In the early 1990s Ted Guy read every book and article about the entire POW mess and then came to a startling reversal of thought. He realized that the United States government had indeed abandoned hundreds of other POWs at the end of the war and that those POWs were still alive in Vietnam and Laos. So Ted began speaking out, writing to his fellow former POWs and even held a big press conference in Washington at the National Press Club.
This new position put Ted at odds with McCain, who was then serving on the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIAs.
McCain has led the fight against all those of us who believe there are still POWs held against their will in Southeast Asia.
One day in 1991 Ted Guy living then in San Antonio received a phone call from McCain. (Unbeknownst to McCain, Ted tape recorded all his phone calls.) McCain said, "Ted, I just had a good conversation with your friend John LeBoutillier. I think everything is just fine.
When the call was over, Ted called me and told me what McCain had just said. Ted then asked me, "John, did you just have a conversation with McCain?"
Flabbergasted, I replied, "I have not talked with McCain since 1985!"
A few weeks later McCain again called Ted Guy to try to dissuade Ted from leading the pro-living-POW faction. And, again, on went Ted's home tape recorder. McCain began, "Hi, Ted, how are you?"
Ted was ready. He said to McCain, "John, the last time you called me you claimed you had just had a conversation with John LeBoutillier. But in fact you hadn't talked to him in six years!"
McCain immediately replied, "I never said I had had a conversation with John LeBoutillier. I don't know what youre talking about."
So there you have it!
John McCain is either a complete liar or else he is so mentally unstable that he cannot remember what he said a few weeks earlier to someone he has known for 30 years.
Either way we must never trust him nor should he ever be allowed anywhere near 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Subject: McCain
Here is my follow up on McCain, as promised.
Neal
It appears that John McCain is on a roll and is building up enough momentum to
most likely become the GOP candidate who will run against the democratic
candidate for president in the upcoming presidential election.
After Rudy Giuliani's failed strategy of placing all his hopes upon the Florida
primary, he withdrew from the race and endorsed John McCain, calling McCain an
"American hero".
Then in a not unexpected move, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger gave his
endorsement to Senator McCain as well, also calling him a "great American hero".
The news media, including the self proclaimed best political team of CNN, are
all saying that John McCain is the current front runner and will be tough to
beat for the GOP nomination.
With only two candidates left on the democratic side and Senator McCain the
favored to win the republican nomination, I am left feeling utterly disgusted,
although this scenario was not unexpected.
The country is still divided along party lines, much as it was in the past few
presidential elections, yet there is the war in Iraq and the supposed threat of
another terrorist attack that may be a major factor in how people vote. In that
instance I have heard it said that any republican is better than any democrat. I
wish I could be so sure about that.
Senator McCain claims he has the "experience, the knowledge, and the judgment."
Furthermore Senator McCain stated, "And as president, I will follow in this
tradition of sticking to my principles no matter what and bring our troops home
with honor."
Senator McCain is thought of as a hero by those who endorse him, he has stated
that "...I was prepared to sacrifice whatever was necessary in order to stand up
for what I believed in." Senator McCain, to use your own words, it is time for
some straight talk.
In the last debate Senator McCain's stated that he had the honor of serving this
country in uniform for 22 years. Let's look at some facts regarding Senator
McCain's service to this country.
During Senator McCain's time in the military academy he was known for his hard
drinking rowdy behavior. According to the book, The Nightingale'
While in training in Pensacola Florida, Senator McCain continued to party and
live an extravagant lifestyle. He drove a Corvette and dated an exotic dancer
named Marie the Flame of Florida.
During his training Senator McCain lost his first of five aircraft when it
ditched into Corpus Christi Bay during a landing attempt. Nevertheless McCain
graduated from flight training in 1960.
When Senator McCain was stationed in the Mediterranean he lost his second plane
when he flew into some power lines. Once again the military ignored his apparent
inability to keep a plane airborne and promoted him to flight instructor at
Naval Air Station Meridian, in Mississippi.
As a flight instructor Senator McCain lost his third plane while flying solo to
Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. The Navy again ignored the loss of
a third plane, calling it unavoidable, and assigned Senator McCain to the USS.
Forrestal.
While on the Forrestal Senator McCain lost his fourth jet when a rocket somehow
slammed into it while it was loaded with bombs. The ensuing explosion killed 134
sailors. McCain survived and was transferred to the USS Oriskany.
While serving on the Oriskany, Senator McCain was shot down and captured by the
Vietnamese, where he was held as a prisoner of war for five and a half years. No
one other than those who have actually been held as prisoners of war can relate
to the difficulties and hardships they face. I, as a veteran, however was
briefed upon the Military Code of Conduct, rules that apply to all who might be
captured in time of war. Article 5 of the Code of Conduct states, "When
questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am required to give name, rank,
service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to
the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to
my country and its allies or harmful to their cause."
When Senator McCain lost his fifth plane over Hanoi and had to eject, he
suffered fractures to both arms and one leg. Although he must have been in
severe pain, after three or four days of being slapped around and questioned by
his captors Senator McCain called for an officer and told him "OK, I'll give you
military information if you will take me to the hospital." U.S. News and World
Report, May 14, 1973 article written by former POW John McCain.
Senator McCain was taken to Gai Lam military hospital which was normally
unavailable to American POWS. While technically still a prisoner of war, Senator
McCain seemed to have certain privileges not shared by his fellow servicemen. In
his own words again, ". . . Many visitors came to talk to me [John McCain]. Not
all of it was for interrogation. Once a famous North Vietnamese writer-an old
man with a Ho Chi Minh beard-came to my room, wanting to know all about Ernest
Hemingway . . . Others came to find out about life in the United States. They
figured because my father had such high military rank that I was of the royalty
or governing circle . . . One of the men who came to see me, whose picture I
recognized later, was Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap, the hero of Dienbienphu.
In 1967 Hanoi press started running quotes by Senator McCain which gave away
specific military information. One such report stated, "To a question of the
correspondent, McCain answered: 'My assignment to the Oriskany, I told myself,
was due to serious losses in pilots, which were sustained by this aircraft
carrier (due to its raids on the North Vietnam territory - VNA) and which
necessitated replacements. From 10 to 12 pilots were transferred like me from
the Forrestal to the Oriskany. Before I was shot down, we had made several
sorties. Altogether, I made about 23 flights over North Vietnam.'" McCain is
further quoted as describing the number of aircraft in his flight and
information concerning rescue ships.
For nearly two years McCain was held in isolation. During this time no one other
McCain and his captors know for sure what took place. Some claim the McCain
underwent "intense indoctrination and psychological programs".
Towards the end of his internment as a POW Senator McCain was interviewed by Dr.
Fernando Barral, a psychiatrist from Spain who was living in Cuba at the time.
The interview was photographed by the Vietnamese and shows McCain drinking
coffee and eating oranges and cakes with Dr. Barral. During this interview
McCain answered questions freely in Spanish, another apparent violation of the
Code of Conduct by failing to evade answering questions to the utmost of his
ability.
McCain states that he was physically beaten and physically abused while held
captive at one location known as the Plantation. According to an Article in the
Phoenix New Times in March of 1999, two former POW's who were McCain's senior
ranking officers at the time state that although they could not state for sure
that he was not beaten, they doubted the events McCain claimed had happened,
actually did occur.
One of these men, Gordon "Swede" Larson, stated, "Between the two of us, it's
our belief, and to the best of our knowledge, that no prisoner was beaten or
harmed physically in that camp [known as "The Plantation"]
As I stated, no one, other than John McCain and his captors, knows for sure what
took place while he was held captive as a POW. It is interesting though that in
1993 on one of Senator McCain's trips back to Hanoi he asked the Vietnamese not
to make public the records they held pertaining to U.S. POW's.
There is an unwritten code among servicemen that to the best of their ability
they will leave no man behind. In 1973 the U.S. saw the repatriation of 591 U.S.
servicemen who had been held captive as POW's. However, it was estimated that
still there were a large number of POW's held in Vietnam, Laos, and possibly
even in Southern China.
In 1973 the State Department stated that data showed the prisoner list to be
starkly incomplete. Only nine of the 591 returnees came out of Laos although
experts in military intelligence listed 311 men as missing in that country. Yet
on March 29, 1973 President Nixon proclaimed that 'all our American POW's are on
their way home.' That discrepancy has never been explained.
As a former POW, you would think that Senator McCain would want to do all that
he could to settle this dispute once and for all. In 1989 the House of
Representatives introduced a measure entitled 'The Truth Bill'. This simple
legislation stated, "[The] head of each department or agency which holds or
receives any records and information, including live-sighting reports, which
have been correlated or possibly correlated to United States personnel listed as
prisoner of war or missing in action from World War II, the Korean conflict and
the Vietnam conflict shall make available to the public all such records and
information held or received by that department or agency. In addition, the
Department of Defense shall make available to the public with its records and
information a complete listing of United States personnel classified as prisoner
of war, missing in action, or killed in action (body not returned) from World
War II, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam c! onflict."
Opposed by the Pentagon, The Truth Bill got nowhere. In 1991 it was reintroduced
again, and once again was stymied. Then out of the blue, in the Senate comes a
bill written by Senator John McCain came a new piece of legislation bearing his
name alone, 'The McCain Bill'. This legislation created a bureaucratic nightmare
that made sure only a handful of the available documents would ever see the
light of day. It miraculously passed and became law. Now the Pentagon is not
required to inform the public when it receives intelligence stating that
Americans are still alive and held in captivity.
What gives Senator McCain? Where is your loyalty to your fellow servicemen? The
POW/MIA movement is still alive in this country, but it has faded to the
background, only to be kept alive by those who still have loved ones unaccounted
for. They have little to no hope of ever finding out the truth regarding the
whereabouts of their loved ones, yet they still hang on to hope.
Yet a professor of law at the University of Wisconsin, and the editor of The
Encyclopedia of the Vietnam War, calls these people 'sick'. Professor Kutler
states, "If it weren't so sick, it would be laughable. These are not nice
people. They are the other side in an ongoing uncivil Civil War in America. They
would refight Vietnam, criminalize abortion, make public school prayer
mandatory, prove that Hillary bumped off Vince Foster, and indict Teddy Kennedy
for Chappaquiddick. They are uncivil and intolerant of any views or information
they do not share."
I wonder if Professor Kutler and Senator McCain would say the same, and block
every effort of the families of loved ones who disappeared in abduction cases
across America?
Senator McCain claims to have what it takes to be Commander in Chief. He claims
he has the leadership qualities that this nation needs. In simple straight talk
that Senator McCain is so fond of using I would like to see him explain his
conduct regarding the points I have just made. The American people deserve the
truth, and it appears that Senator McCain has not been very straightforward when
it comes to that commodity.
